Are you ready for an overload of beautiful photos? Today is the final post on my branding journey and it's all about my experience with, and my favorite photos from, Andrea of Andrea Pesce Photography. I know I’ve mentioned her quite a bit around these parts but that’s because she has played a huge role in my branding experience. Andrea provided all the photography you see on the website, including head shots, product photography, and stock photos. While her photography talent speaks for itself, there is so much more about Andrea you really should know. I honestly tear up when I think about the blessing she has been to me, both personally and to this little business. Andrea has been the biggest cheerleader, mentor, and friend to me over the months. She has a philosophy about life and business that is so refreshing. After our very first coffee date, I was hooked. (Is that weird?? haha) I leave inspired and challenged every time we hang out.
In similar fashion to last weeks post, and because I’m a list person with a growing Type A personality, I thought I would list a few things you might not know about Andrea and what she offers as a product photographer. I’ll keep it short, with only 2 points, so I can show off her beautiful images. Without further ado..
1. ANDREA IS A STYLIST
Andrea has a crazy good eye for design and style. Do you see that floral arrangement above, by the typewriter? Yeah, she created that. Maybe this is a given for some photographers, but I’m convinced this an especially amazing talent of hers. I felt so comfortable leaving the styling of my product photos completely up to her. I knew she was going to make my work look beautiful, not just with quality photos but with good styling. Andrea and I came up with a budget for props, and besides the ones I had in my home, I trusted her to purchase things that she knew would fit my brand. There is SO much to consider when you are going through the branding process and knowing I didn’t have to worry about my photos or the styling of them was a big relief.
2. ANDREA IS A SAGE
Okay, not really...but, maybe. :) She does, however, have great perspective and wisdom. One thing I love about Andrea is that she is genuine in her love for her work and in seeing people live out their passions. She gets super excited to be a part of that journey with you as you pursue what you were created to do. That was so valuable to me! On the days where I was doubting my work and doubting my ability to run a business, her belief in me meant the world and helped to keep me going. She could bring me back to reality when I wasn’t seeing things clearly and she encouraged me to dream bigger when my view was too small. Her advice and wisdom have had a greater affect on my business than almost anyone or anything else.
I had the hardest time choosing which photos to share! If you are interested, you can view Andrea's favorites here. Not only did Andrea give me an amazing experience but her photos really brought Lauren’s design to life on my site. I can not recommend Andrea enough if you are in the market for branded photography.
And speaking of product and brand photography, did you all catch on Instagram last week how I used one of Andrea's photos to announce an upcoming calligraphy workshop? (Shameless plus, I know.)
I am SO excited about this workshop, you guys! I’ll be covering how to use all the traditional supplies (pen holders, nibs, ink) as well as the techniques used to create those gorgeous thin and thick strokes that calligraphy is famous for. All the supplies you need are included. You will be able to go home and continue practicing your new lettering skills! It's going to be a fun and beautiful afternoon filled with amazing views at The Water Table, cocktails, snacks, calligraphy of course, and a few surprises! We're keeping the class size small to allow for one-on-one instruction, so don't delay in securing your spot. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions! I hope to see you there!
